Get version information for the current Box Runtime

This function does not accept any arguments

This returns a struct with version information:

Run Example

Parsing Version Info

If you need to conditionally execute code based on the BoxLang version, we suggest using val() to extract the major/minor version number from the version field for use in conditionals:

majorMinor = val( getBoxVersionInfo().version );
if( majorMinor >= "1.13" ) {
    print( "This code is running on Box version 1.13 or later." );
} else {
    print( "This code is running on Box version earlier than 1.13." );
}
